Children in each year group have the opportunity to become a representative for their class, in the following councils:

The process began by explaining that when voting, children should consider what makes someone a good councilor. Voting should not be based on who is your friend. The children learnt that you need to choose someone who;
The voters then chose a girl and a boy from their class to represent them in each council. Teachers then counted the votes, in front of the class, and announced the winners.
