    Welcome

    Welcome from our Headteacher

As the Head Teacher of St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School, it is a real honour and privilege to welcome you to our school website. Governors, staff, parents, members of the parish and pupils all make St Augustine’s the outstanding school it is today.

Pupils at St Augustine's are growing to be…

  • Attentive and Discerning

Attentive to their experience and to their vocation; and discerning about the choices they make and the effects of those choices.

  • Compassionate and Loving

Compassionate towards others, near and far, especially the less fortunate; and loving by their just actions and forgiving words.

  • Eloquent and Truthful

Eloquent and truthful in what they say of themselves, the relations between people, and the world.

For Outdoor Learning Day and No Electricity Day, Year 5 ventured into the outdoor area to look for items which we thought would decay and explored how different fruits and vegetables have decayed over a week . We have made our own boxes of items and over time will observe which items decay and which do not. Watch this space!
