Snow closure - Friday 8th January

Comprehension, MyMaths and SPAG.com have been set for homework. For Monday, ensure the comprehension, 1 MyMaths and 1 SPAG activity have been completed.
2 MyMaths activities are available. The first on 'short multiplication' is revision from y4. The second task set is multiplication and division 5D. Children should be able to complete question 1 and 2. They may wish to challenge themselves with further questions. Please complete 1 of these tasks at least.
There are 2 SPAG activities for children to complete. If your child has already completed one (on Wednesday or Thursday evening), please choose 1 of the others.
Spellings are also on Spelling Frame for children to practise.

Previous Remote Learning

On 30th March 2022, the Department of Education (DfE) withdrew the requirement for schools to provide Remote Education, as children only need to isolate for 3 days if they have tested positive.

On 23rd January 2023, the DfE expect schools to consider remote education only as a last resort.

Please see the links below to support your child if they are off school with Covid-19.

Also, we continue to encourage children to read for pleasure. Choose your favourite book and spend some time reading it! You could write a book review about it if you finish it.
