Summer Term
What can we learn about our world?
To help us find out more about the world in which we live in, we will be exploring a selection of books written by Mick Inkpen.
We will learn about floating and sinking through the story 'The Blue Balloon', about where penguins live in 'Penguin Small', all about toys in the story 'Kipper's Toybox', birthday celebrations through the book 'Kipper's Birthday' and about the animals we can have as pets in 'The Great Pet Sale'.
We will also explore the story 'The Train Ride' by June Crebbin. During this story we will learn about different types of transport and different journeys we can go on.
During this term we get ourselves ready to move into our next year group.
