SPRING TERM

JANUARY

  • Tuesday 3rd January - children return to school (8:45-8:55am).
  • Wednesday 4th January - EYFS & KS1 - Pantomime - Goldilocks (in school)
  • Monday 9th January - Football club resumes 3:25-4:30pm for Years 1 & 2. £5 per session. Booking required to secure place.
  • Tuesday 10th January - Netball club resumes 3:25-4:30pm for Year 4, 5 & 6. No charge. Booking required to secure place. Priority for Yr6 pupils due to upcoming Netball fixtures.
  • Wednesday 11th January - Choir for KS2 resumes 3:25-4:30pm for KS2. £2 per session. Booking required to secure place.
  • Thursday 12th January - Dance club resumes for Reception to Yr6. Payment directly through Stardust. Booking required to secure place.
  • Friday 13th January - Whole School Retreat Day - with One Life Music. Governors welcome to attend.
  • Tuesday 17th January - Yr3 Gymnastics festival - group of children to be selected from the class for this compete event.
  • Thursday 19th January - Yr6 BOYS Football match at Solihull Moors V Berkswell 4pm. Team to be selected. 3:15pm pick-up permitted.
  • Monday 23rd January - Reception 'Get peddling' programme commences across the week in the afternoons.
  • Tuesday 24th January - Yr5/6 Indoor Athletics event 9:30am start at Tudor Grange Leisure Centre - team to be selected. No spectators permitted.
  • Tuesday 24th January - Yr6 GIRLS Football at Old Sils 5pm start V Olton (5pm) and Monkspath (5:30pm). Letter to be issued.
  • Friday 27th January - Governors calling into school to carry out a Learning Walk.
  • Sunday 29th January - Yr6 Enrolment for Confirmation Mass, 9am at St Augustine's Chruch (winter uniform to be worn).
  • Sunday 29th January - Choir singing at Church
  • Monday 30th January - Yr2 Infant Agility event at Tudor Grange Leisure Centre (afternoon)

FEBRUARY

  • Wednesday 1st February - Year 1 Saints Day - children from this class to wear non-uniform.
  • Thursday 2nd February - Reception - vision screening
  • Friday 3rd February - Number Day
  • Tuesday 7th February - Safer Internet Day
  • Tuesday 7th February - Rec & Yr6 NCMP (National childhood measurement programme)
  • Tuesday 7th February - Yr6 Netball skills event at Tudor Grange Leisure Centre (team to be selected and letter to be issued)
  • Sunday 12th February - Mini Vinnies Cake Sale at St Augustine's Church (further details to follow closer to the time)
  • Sunday 12th February - Choir singing at Church
  • Monday 13th February - Multi-cultural week
  • Monday 13th February - Yr4 Trip - Gurdwara
  • Tuesday 14th February - Y6 visit to Islamic Exhibition
  • Tuesday 14th February - Yr4 & Yr5 Cricket sessions begin in school (PE kits to be worn - 6 week programme)
  • Thursday 16th February - Y5 Synagogue Trip
  • Thursday 16th February - Yr5 Maths Challenge -at St John the Baptist 4pm start - team of 4 to be selected.
  • Friday 17th February - school finishes at 3:25pm for half term
  • Monday 27th February - SCHOOL INSET - closed to children
  • Tuesday 28th February - children return to school 8:45-8:55am.

MARCH

  • Wednesday 1st March - St David's Day - children to wear yellow to school
  • Thursday 2nd March - Netball fixtures (home) V Hockley Heath & Our Lady of Compassion 4pm start. Spectators welcome.
  • Friday 3rd March - World Book Day
  • Monday 6th March - Yr6 Residential to Manor Adventure (after lunch departure)
  • Friday 10th March - Yr6 Residential return (approximately 4pm) - updates will be posted on Twitter!
  • Monday 13th March - Science week
  • Monday 13th March - Good Shepherd Appeal Assembly - Margot from Fr Hudson's 10am
  • Monday 13th March - Yr5 Dance festival at Alderbrook 2pm rehearsal, 4pm start - further details to follow
  • Tuesday 14th March - Parents' Evening
  • Wednesday 15th March - Parents' Evening
  • Friday 17th March - Saint Patrick's Day - children to wear green into school
  • Friday 17th March - CO Safety Assembly
  • Friday 17th March - Yr2 Safety Seymour (am)
  • Friday 17th March - Yr5 CO Crew (pm)
  • Monday 20th March - Reception Saints Day - children in this class can wear non-uniform
  • Tuesday 21st March - Yr5 MAC debate at Council House - children to be selected to represent the school 12:30pm start
  • Friday 24th March - Yr5 Severn Trent Water Assembly
  • Monday 27th March- Holy Week in school
  • Monday 27th March - Book Fair (2 days)
  • Monday 27th March - Netball fixtures at Eversfield 4pm start, playing Eversfield and Lady K
  • Thursday 30th March - Yr3 Personal Best Festival at Tudor Grange Leisure Centre (afternoon)
  • Friday 31st March - Last day of term. School finishes at 2:30pm. Non-uniform day - £1 donation for the PA.
